About

ABOUT

The project will give an overview of the current situation regarding cyberbullying and hate speech in the partners’ countries (Cyprus, Austria, Slovenia and Slovakia). It will also provide a list of good practices and measures for preventing and addressing cyberbullying and hate speech. Such good practices can be initiatives taken by public or private bodies, local or European projects carried out by NGOs, youth organisations and associations, as well as online and offline campaigns. As a result, a Catalogue named “Initiatives Against Cyberbullying and Hate in Social Media” will be compiled, which will include local professionals/ stakeholders/ NGO members/ public institutions etc. that have taken part in initiatives against cyberbullying and hate speech. Among others, the catalogue will provide effective approaches for the social integration of young refugees and migrants within the context of radicalization of cultural identities and the lack of democratic understanding.
