INTEGRA INSTITUTE
The Institute’s mission and vision are based on the development of human resources whereby the accent is on the doctrine of programmes and the provision of services in the field of humanistic sciences for different target and age groups. Our public service officers of the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs professionals working at the Institute perform their special advisory work in the field of psychosocial and occupational rehabilitation in close cooperation with the Employment Service of Slovenia and Pension and Disability Insurance Institute of the Republic of Slovenia.
Furthermore, the central activities of the Institute are based on the development and the implementation of social innovations, research in the field of human resources, education and advisory services to professionals of different sciences and development of human resources in the field of cognitive sciences. To this end, the Institute works both with professionals in Slovenia and abroad. However, it also participates in a range of projects relating to lifelong learning and education of adults in the area of European Union and in the states of South-Western Balkans.
The Integra Institute is also highly active in the field of community development and has founded and implemented numerous projects:

Institute is an official member few of associations as well as counselling experts’ groups on national level: Central Labour Office Rehabilitation Committee, LAS – Advisory Group of Drug Prevention, Social Chamber of Slovenia, and abroad: Mind and Life Institute, Ashoka-Change Makers.
The Institute regularly employs professionals in the field of medicine, psychology, special pedagogy, occupational therapy. Besides, it also serves as an education centre for students of Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Sport and Faculty of Education.
